One of our most successful workshop series is an on-demand course: Introduction to Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & Expression (SOGIE) Affirming Approach & Expansive Practices, taught by AFG member Rainbow Community Center. As champions of girls and young women who are cisgender, transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming, it is important for us to understand, practice, and implement approaches that support them in exploring and honoring their gender identities and sexualities so that they can have agency and become powerful individuals.

This training aims to provide a safe space for all advocates and educators of young people interested in developing and strengthening fluency in the SOGIE spectra.
